Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

I stayed in a bunch of hotels and airbnb in Nepal before (mostly Kathmandu) and Napalaya beats all of them head down. The room was squeaky clean and fresh, furniture looked new, functional set up, bathroom absolutely lovely( trust me on that on the strength of my Nepalese experience). Staff friendly, and professional. Had my own balcony on to of that! View wasn’t exactly Pokhara lake but it was quiet as not facing the street— massive bonus!

Nextdoor Patan presenta un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e un bar a Patan. L’alloggio è situato a 2,4 km da Piazza Durbar, 3 km da Hanuman Dhoka e 3,5 km da Piazza Durbar. Excellent place to stay - really great location. The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway

Fiery friendly and warm front desk manager. Location is prime 2 minutes walk from Thamel (but not in the chaos) while right next to tourist bus stop
