Hostel's owner, workers and friends (and little LILY) are just the most amazing and friendly people, they take you to all the best spots on their tuk tuk and have lot of suggestions, the best people to hang out with. It's a simple place, they clean everyday and make you great breakfast. Be careful because it's almost impossible to stay just one night, I had to extend my stay twice. I will miss this place!

The room was perfekt with a big comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I loved the place because it was quiet and peaceful bit you are in a few minutes in the centre where you can eat. Every sightseeing is in walking distance and its the perfect place to take a walk and enjoy the day. The family was super lovely and nice, could‘nt ask for more. It felt like a little SriLanka Home. They will also help you with everything and show you around places. Was one of my best stays while travelling!

The private room I had was clean and comfortable. The hosts were both so sweet and pleasant to interact with. Lastly proximity to Cargill’s Food City really sealed the deal.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was amazing - super spacious and so comfortable - we even extended an extra night. It felt like we were in a safari lodge! It was so quiet and peaceful. The staff are also amazing and the meals were incredible! Thank you!

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and comfortable, breakfast was always delicious, and the one dinner I had there turned out to be the best meal of my trip — tasty, generous, and great quality. What really made it special was the people. Maliya was so kind and helpful, always there if I needed anything. He even took me to a beautiful sunset spot nearby and walked me to the bus stop when I checked out. Those small gestures really meant a lot and made the stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!

This is a newly opened hostel perfect for seeing Sigiriya! It’s only about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the rock and about 10-15 minutes walking to some restaurants and shops. This is the cleanest hostel I stayed at in Sri Lanka. You can smell the freshness in the bathrooms and the towels smell so clean. The rooms also have air conditioning. Above all, the family is so personable and kind. The breakfast is also affordable and was so tasty - the best breakfast I had in my one month visit in Sri Lanka. 100% recommend :)

Hello Aliya Hostel se nachází v destinaci Sigiriya a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Sigiriya skála je 1,1 km daleko. Staying at Hello Aliya feels less like a hostel and more like staying at an old friend’s house. The owner Isu is incredibly kind and respectful. The hostel is brand new so everything is incredibly clean. It is situated just off the main road. 2 minute walk to the bus stop, 10 mins walk to the entrance of Lion’s Rock, and a 10 minute drive to Pidurangala peak. I really enjoyed my stay there. As a solo woman, I felt safe and welcomed. The breakfast is lovely and the staff even taught me how to play carrom. After one month of traveling Sri Lanka, this is by far my favorite hostel.
