We stayed in one of the private Kiku rooms and it was extremely spacious for the price! Everything was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly! Wake up early to get a fantastic view of Fuji-san before the crowd.

The hostess was a very nice Japanese lady with excellent English. She even offered us free breakfast, which she made herself and was delicious. The rooms were in Japanese style, with probably one of the most comfy beds we ever slept in. The super clean toilet and bathroom were shared, but since there are only a few rooms, it was no issue for us. The internet speed was excellent.

The place is very comfortable and cozy. The host is very kind and friendly. It is also very clean. One of the best places I've stayed in Japan.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. So clean, warm to come back to after a Winter day around the lake and what a perfect perfect location for seeing Mt Fuji. It is directly opposite 1min walk away to cross the road and you are in Oishi Park. After walking around the lake and seeing the other hotel options I would say this was the best location!
