Guesthouse Iwase is set in Toyama, 2.2 km from Toyama-kō and 14 km from Toyama Family Park. It’s not too far from Toyama station, the host gave me two complimentary tickets for the tram, he was so kind and helpful, his service was outstanding, I highly recommend this property as it looks really Japanese style for a small price.

Travelers' house ROOTs is located in Takaoka, 47 km from Kanazawa Castle and 47 km from Kenrokuen Garden. The owner was incredible, he was the most amazing host I had ever at an hostel! The beds were quite comfy and if you need another pillow he’ll offer you one! The towels are multi time use when paying one time 100 yen throughout your entire stay, I was there for almost four days and it was fun! I cooked food at the kitchen and shared it with the host too, he absolutely loved it! If you’re an international traveler, make sure to stop here!

Located in Nanto, 31 km from Kanazawa Castle, Guesthouse Kazura provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The owner created a beautiful lifestyle combined with world class Japanese history houses. Wonderful landscapes window view, full packed kitchen, cafe beans..so on. We don’t have enough time exploring more there.

Situated in Toyama, within 5.3 km of Toyama Station and 11 km of Toyama-kō, CocoGuesthouse features accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. Owner was very kind and welcoming. He even played with our toddler after arriving at 21:00. This is the closest you will get to a traditional Japanese home with tatami floors and a nice garden with a great price. A short walk from Kureha Station which is a 1-stop ride to Toyama Station. We didn’t get to use the kitchen but it was well-equipped and spacious.
