Dům je nádherný a má historii. Mají spoustu informací co v okolí dělat, kam jít, co vidět. tatto-friendly onseny apod. Pokud plánujete výlet/výšlap v okolí, rozhodně doporučuji. Prosím mějte na paměti, že staré domy nejsou logicky odhlučněné a člověk do toho s tím musí jít. Nicméně i tak jsme se dobře vyspali - druzí hosté byli ohleduplní.

MOUNTAinn Nagiso se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Kotoku-ji Temple se nachází 4,7 km daleko. Ubytování nabízí sdílenou kuchyň a terasu. My party of 5 total stayed only one night when hiking the Magome to Nagiso section of the Nakasendo. Proximity to train station and Nakasendo trail was the original selling point, but we fell in love with the place as soon as our host toured us around. It feels like staying at an artsy bed and breakfast, except you provide the breakfast and you get the entire place to yourself. There's small, delightful touches of personality and hospitality every where you look. We did not want for anything. Our sweet host met us at the front door to enter data from our passports and then gave us a walk through of the building. Two toilets and two showers was perfect for a group of 5. Fridge and other kitchen appliances work great. We listened to the CD disc player on the wall while reading the books and it was a lovely experience.The futons were placed very thoughtfully according to our parties needs. In addition to the trail and train station, there's a grocery store, a historic bridge and a cafe all within a couple minutes walk. The patios were a great hang out spot and we saw monkeys near the river around 7am. Honestly, I wish we had stayed longer but our plans dictated we move on. Next time we will try to book a few more nights so we can explore the area more!

Starfall Lodge se nachází v destinaci Hakuba. Tsugaike Kogen ski areál se nachází 9 km daleko a Nagano železniční stanice 44 km. Family of 4 stayed in Taurus room for 6. Excellent stay! Big thanks to the team! You won’t find a better staff! The lodge owners take care of their staff and the staff took great care of us! Daily breakfast and shuttles to local mountains were the perfect way to start each day! Shuttle: Staff was very accommodating when we wanted rides to restaurants and the walk back was reasonable; 25 minutes was the longest walk and was quite pleasant even in a light snow. Location: there are 10 ski resorts that are all different, so unless you wanted to stay on one and stay there, the location doesn’t really matter. We went to several different and the shuttle system the lodge runs was great! Starfall was also a 10 minute walk one way to the bus terminal and 10 the other to the train. Room was great! Beds were comfortable and plenty of space in our room. Closet had a waist high shelf perfect for a full size suitcase and more. Lots of hangers. Warm heater. Facilities were awesome-we had two daughters (9, 13) with us. They were very comfortable and had a great time with the staff. There are 6 toilets in private set ups. Never had to wait to use the bathroom. The two showers were also great. Warm outer rooms to undress/dress and spacious showers with two shower heads; nice hot water! We never had to wait for a shower either. Dry room: very helpful and had our ski gear nice and toasty in the AM! If anything, the room was a little hot while getting ready, but we just stepped out onto the covered porch to finish dressing for the slopes! Overall-can’t recommend enough!

Amazing place, feels like a house and not like a hostel. Good breakfast/dinner. The owner was very nice and kind.

Staff were so welcoming and arranging. Being able to have a free lift before check in was massively helpful. The location at the bottom of the slopes of Tsugaike is perfect too. A really positive and warm atmosphere - I highly recommend staying there!

The entire staff at the hostel are the sweetest! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting up with all of them and look forward to coming back.

Orie responded to all our queries on email within minutes and Sakura and Etsuke were always available to share their insights or some chats over a cup of tea. The location was very close to the Zenkoji temple and within 500 m of many restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were comfortable and the dorms had a bit of Japanese touch.
