Momiji hostel asub Minami Asos, 32 km kaugusel Egao Kenko staadionist Kumamoto. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla ja ühine puhkeruum. It’s a very beautiful house with an amazing and welcoming owner! We loved the location and the room, very big and as described! We will be back! Furthermore, the two cats around the hostel are just so wonderful it makes the experience even better.

Aso Base Backpackers asub Asos, 33 km kaugusel Egao Kenko staadionist Kumamoto ja 42 km kaugusel Kumamoto lossist. This is one of the most charming, cleanest, safest, and friendliest backpacking hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff was so helpful and obliging. The beds were clean and the storage secure. I stayed here on a whim after forgetting to plan one night's stay, and I'm so glad I did! I would visit again.

Situated in Kumamoto, 2.4 km from Suizenji Park, 旅の途中 On the trip features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. There is husband and wife managing the property and they were very kind to me. The whole hostel is built in samurai style which I found really cool and interesting. It is quite far from the city centre but they borrowed me a bike which i could use anytime.

Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus HIKE asub Tamanas, Hirayama kuumaveeallikast 20 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum. Staying at this rebuilt hospital was a highlight of our journey. The atmosphere, materials, and lighting is very beautiful. We got very warmly welcomed and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main floor restaurant. We definitely recommend it to spend some calm relaxing days! They also provide bicycles to discover the beautiful nature around or drive to a nearby onsen place or to the sea.

Set in Kumamoto and with Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei reachable within 3.1 km, Hotel The Gate Kumamoto offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The restrooms and shower were clean, the dorm was quiet and there was a locker in each room for each guest to store their belongings in, which might come in handy when you have to share a room. I was able to stay by myself though and was able to fully relax. The bed was comfortable and the locker is spacious. The lighting is comfortable. The staff was really kind and helpful. I wasn't able to find the bus stop location of my bus online and went to the front desk at 11pm to ask for help. They kindly printed out a map of the bus stops at Kumamoto Station and explained how to get there twice and made sure I understood. I really appreciated that.
