We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, ideal for anyone cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The area is peaceful and scenic, and it’s not too far from beautiful beaches and a local public bath, which was a great way to relax after a day of cycling while admiring the sunset. The host was very kind and welcoming, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Good location close to stores and attractions. Parking close by. Nice interior, good facilities, friendly staff. Roomy bunk beds with curtains, heating inside. They have items for sale and a bar. Amazing place, a true hidden gem. We ended up needing a place to sleep while doing the Shinanamikaido cycling route and looked for a nice cheap option. After cycling through the sleepy rural Japanese countryside we made it to the hostel, finding it quite easily. The staff checking us in was very helpful and had great English, the whole process taking about 5 minutes. The common areas were clean and filled with appliances, board games and a nice manga collection. The room was quiet and the bunks spacious, slept better than I have in some hotels. Breakfast was great too and they offer free coffee in the shared space. There’s a beautiful shrine and Lawson convenience store nearby so you will be able to enjoy the location and stock up for the rest of your journey.

Quick response to questions and extremely helpful. House is spacious, clean and modern. Great equipment to cook in the kitchen which was great with a family. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was great. Really good to have the washing machine available. Warm place with heat pumps in every room. Loved it. The lady who welcomed us and say goodbye was super kind and lovely.

It was very comfortable and the stuff was just amazing. Helpful with every step. For example when we went to restaurant i lose my phone and even before i realizes that the problem was already solved. Also his openness and interactions were just so welcoming. Truly uplighting experience that i fully recommend to anyone.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to enjoy. After picking up my daughter from Matsuyama Airport, we parked our rental car across from the hotel for the first night, then moved it to the city’s free parking spots for the next two days. We didn't use the car again until we departed, choosing to explore Dogo on foot, soak in the onsen, and savor delicious regional food. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. When one of their washing machines malfunctioned and ate our coins, they refunded the money so we could complete our laundry. We enjoyed sleeping on futons to experience the traditional Japanese style. If you are looking for a clean, reasonable accommodation so you can use the extra money for gorgeous sets of Ehime food, such as Tai meshi, this place is it. We will come back again!
