It’s one of those places that’s easy to settle into—comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully run 🌿🛖. The yoga shala was a real highlight 🌳🧘‍♂️. It’s clean, peaceful, and felt like a great place to start each day. The whole property is well-maintained, and you can tell there’s real care behind the scenes. Everything from the rooms to the common spaces had a calm, intentional vibe 🍃. What I appreciated most was the balance between community and personal space 🍂🪷. There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

Situated in Gokarna, a few steps from Gokarna Main Beach, Revibe Beach Hostel Gokarna features accommodation with a garden, private parking and a shared lounge. This place is definitely one of the most awesome hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are just really cool and relaxed guys who include everyone and provide a magic experience on a quiet part of the main beach of Gokarna. Every night they organised some kind of games (from poker, to mafia over or music sessions that let you feel like home. Everybody is welcomed to join, nobody is forced to. If you just want to relax l, you’re also able to do so. The dorms are super tidy and cleaned every day. The common area is inviting and let you either hang out the whole day or just a bit in the night either how you prefer. The beach is directly in front of the door step and the sea amazing to bath in. The food is really pleasant for a fair price and you want to try ally of it. I recommend their Shakshuka and Gobi Manchurian. If you have the chance to stay at this special gem at the coast of Gokarna, don’t miss it. You will definitely not regret it. Thank you so much guys for this unique experience. If I ever come back to South India, I’ll make sure to visit you again. Here I felt like home far away from home.

The owner is so kind! He lent me a raincoat and even though it was past check-out time, he let me sleep in the bed.

Homely atmosphere within 1 km walk to the Varkala cliff. Clean room and tidy bathroom. Enjoyed the hostel atmosphere and cozy room after the a long session at the beach. Staffs were really friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff is amazing, the location is perfect (walking distance to restaurants and also to the beach), the converted bungalow is GORGEOUS, the common area makes it easy to make friends. One of the best hostels I've been in. I'll be back!!
