Main pro points: 1 Excellent pateo with hammock to relax and read one of the available books 2 Incredibly familiar and kind hosts, ready to suggested place to visit, always remembering your name and available to help you anytime. 3 amazings smells coming out of the kitchen, very good quality/price lunch and breakfast. On the top of that available delicious homemade cakes

Jane and Felipe are the perfect hosts. They are generous, extremely hospitable and have the biggest hearts. The meals are the best we had in Colombia. The accompanying salads with our meals are bigger in portions than the salads we ordered at restaurants. Great location to hang out and relax for as long as we wanted. Quite possibly the best place we stayed and we have been travelling for the last two years.

Bathrooms were clean, the food in the restaurant delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. They kept in touch even before my arrival and helped me to organize the trip from Bogotá to the hostel! It's a great place to hang out and relax. I found the transport to Barichara pretty relaxed. You can either walk to the main road for 15 minutes and take a bus that runs frequently or pay a bit more for a tuktuk to take you right from the hostel.

The location is great, only a couple of blocks from the plaza but still quiet, the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was fine.

One of the best hostels I stayed in over 6 months of travel. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is so much to experience in the area and they will help you with everything. The hostel is really social with nightly activities, but also quiet and relaxed. There is a gorgeous garden, hammocks, pool/hot tub, nice kitchen, free coffee, and hot showers. I extended my stay multiple times.
