The host was just amazing, he was so helpful to find out what to do around Kandy, really very patient, even helped to give directions to the tuktuk. He made the experience very worthwhile. The place was also really clean and nice and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Convenient & Clean place, So close to city of kandy, wonderful Sri Lankan traditional break fast "pittu" best one so tasty, also Rice and curry dinner enjoyed so much. Shalu gave a good rate for the drop hire to Dabulla and he has a very good knowledge about the country so good English, very helpful. Thank you so much.

I stayed here for three days and I'd love to stay longer. The owner is very kind and honest. Although the common areas aren't very spacious, the rooms are large, clean, and relatively new. They come with air conditioning, fans, and cooking facilities. The location is convenient for transportation, so I think it's a great value!

This hostel was really great and beautiful. The staff is really nice and helpful. They organise a lot of activities. I had a really great time here. A bit outside of the town but with a tuk-tuk, it was easy to go to the city.

Amazing deal for the price and location. Its about 400 in a Pick Me ride if you walk away from train station to other side of lake. Can catch a bus back to town easily. Family was super accommodating and welcomed me with a coffee and quick chat. Their daughter bakes great cakes and mom and daughter made a lovely simple Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet even for SL New Year.
