The staff was always attentive and caring. Sora was an excellent host and communicated fluently in English. She replies quickly to any request by WhatsApp or phone. She also gives very good recommendations about where to go. The breakfast options include a variety of Vietnamese and Western dishes. Despite me being a pescatarian, I was able to enjoy many different breakfast options that were both delicious and nutritious. They have bycicles and motorbikes for rent. Cleanliness was above the average in this area. There are many places to eat lunch and dinner less than 5 minutes away walking from the homestay.

It was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Staff were very friendly and helped us book onwards bus tickets, taxis etc. Very good service and sweet people! Excellent value for money.

Extremely central location, clean facilities, great AC, breakfast fruits and tea included, laundry included (sooo helpful in sweaty Chạu Đọc), and a wonderful host family with their daughter Vì who not only speaks English but also helps you out a tremendous amount on the trip. She provides great tips on food recommendations, local attractions, and even booked our tickets to Cambodia for us. A must stay for any tourist travelling through Chạu Đọc. We stayed for a week as a family of four to visit family in town and this homestay truly felt like a home away from home. If I wasn’t already travelling with native Vietnamese speakers, this homestay would have been even that much more helpful as a traveller. Oh and during a brief power outage (which seems to be scheduled city wide) the host family provided a battery powered fan to help ease the time without AC. They were so considerate of everything we needed!

Spent 2 days at the homestay, incredible host, helped us book a boat for the floating market, bus to Châu Đọc and was really eager to help and make us comfortable. The place is clean. We had a balcony from which you can't see the river, because unfortunately there are buildings in the way, but it was pleasant to sit outside. The wifi is very good, I was able to do my work with it. What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.

Nice building, very cosy place. Lift for the luggage. Room was nice and clean. The kitchen was a must. The landlady is helpful, but doesn't speak English (thank you google trad)...

Aiavaatega HOMESTAY VILLA asub Chau Docis. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. We rented a whole villa which was supposed to have 3 bedrooms with A/C and private bathrooms. It turns out that the third bedroom was in the attic with only a little opening for a window. The A/C was very noisy and only worked intermittently. On top of it all, the bathroom was located on the ROOF and it can only be reached by walking across the roof and out in the rain! Finally the property is located on a Main Street where large trucks pass through at all hours of day and night.
