Comprising barbecue facilities and a shared lounge, Traditional Newari Homestay is a recently renovated accommodation in Pātan located close to Patan Durbar Square. Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Set in Kathmandu and only 2 km from Swayambhu, Peace Homestay offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host did an excellent job. I definitely will stay in future.

Whether you visit the Namobuddha Monastery, hike the trails, sit street level or on the rooftop taking in the sights and sounds (which you could do for days), Namaste Homestay is THE spot! Prem and his kind family will make sure you are well fed and looked after.

Offering a bar and city view, HOTEL RUPAKOT AND ROOFTOP RESTAURANT is located in Bhaktapur, 12 km from Patan Durbar Square and 13 km from Boudhanath Stupa. Location was perfect, couldn't ask for a better spot. Staff were very friendly, room was a good size with my own bathroom.

Featuring mountain views, Nirvana Kuti provides accommodation with a terrace, around 100 metres from Kathmandu Durbar Square. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. Look no further...you've found the best place to stay in Baktapur!! Navin is the greatest host that I've met in Nepal. Even though the building might seems a bit tatty at first sight, the room is super clean and comfy. With clean bedsheets and clean bathroom as well. You will meet a bunch of smiley people in that building and cute kids going to school. I also had the best breakfast in Nepal, simple but delicious. I am a woman travelling on my own and I felt perfectly safe there. The view from the rooftop is just incredible and the location in Baktapur can't be better! You're just one minute from Durbar square. Navin is also a trekking guide if you want to hike in the valleys around Baktapur's area. He can also give you a tour in this beautiful town. That's the kind of homestay I HIGHLY recommend!! Hope to be back there very soon.

With garden views, Sunrise Point Homestay is situated in Nagarkot and has a restaurant and room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. This place is a hidden Gem on the outskirts of Nagarkot. The views from the homestay are amazing and hospitality beyond words. Mr. Raj the caretaker is exceptionally kind and caring. His elder brother, father, sister in law make sure you feel at home . They treat customers as guests Food quantity and quality is amazing and very fresh. They serve fresh food

Offering a garden and garden view, Jungle Crown Organic Homestay is located in Nagarkot, 10 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 18 km from Boudhanath Stupa. Beautiful location next to mountains & super quiet

Situated just 700 metres from Swayambhunath Temple, STUPA VIEW INN provides accommodation in Kathmandu with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as luggage storage space. Second time stayed here, as great as ever. Cool person in charge always in answering my query without miss. 24 hours hot shower, clean bed, and necessary amenities are just around the corner. New paint and decorations making the space more warm and uplifting. Still the best in its class in Swayambu.

Shine Homestay Famille Francophone - Shine Home and Apartment, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Kathmandu, 2.5 km from Swayambhu, 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square, as well as 3.6 km... Very helpful hosts that provided me with a lot of recommendations! They weren’t pushy either even though I opted not to do a trek with them. Awesome homestay experience!
