I enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were extremely polite and kind to us. They made us welcome drinks and showed us to our rooms. The rooms had fridge and cosy lighting. I loved the garden feels. It was really peaceful. The breakfast was amazing. Simply marvelous the amount of variety we got. Thank you so much.

We went with two kids( one still a baby), and we felt very comfortable. The room was brand new and comfortable, the pool the highlight for the kids and the chef cooked great food. For the price....As good as it gets honestly.

In the middle of the jungle, the staff is really nice and helpful, they managed many services for us (tuktuks, bike rental, safari, laundry and even umbrellas during the heavy night rains) We had all our meals there (breakfast was enough for lunch)

Dew Ashi Homestay si trova a Sigiriya, a 5,9 km da Antica città di Sigiriya e 9 km da Pidurangala Rock. Dew ashi is a very authentic homestay which we totally loved. It is a bit out of town in a rural area, but this was not a problem as Chaaru the owner will transport you into town or sites (for a small fee) such as pidurangula or Sigirya rock if you need- he is readily contactable through WhatsApp. The room and bathroom are clean with mosquito nets on each bed. Tharu and Chaaru with their 2 young daughters made our experience extremely positive and memorable. They were warm and welcoming. We were there over the New Year celebrations which added extra cultural experiences including a traditional celebratory buffet breakfast. They provide filtered water to refill, and large delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. We also loved having a jug in our room to make tea and coffee. When we went on safari they made toasted sandwiches to take for lunch and soursop juice as a pre safari treat. Yum!! Chaaru arranged a brilliant elephant safari with his brother Patum in Hurulu eco park. This was recommended due to the recent heavy rain with elephants moving from Mineriya to this park. We were treated to many elephant sightings very close to our jeep. He seemed to know exactly where to find them. The pool was beautiful, clean with seats poolside. Tharu ran an amazing and informative cooking class and garden tour. We made using traditional techniques 6 different curries, coconut roti and coconut sambal and we feasted on this at the end. We could not recommend Dew Ashi more highly.

After somewhat difficult arrival because of the night rain and small car we had :-) we were kindly welcomed by our nice host Kumari, with whom we had an really interesting evening conversations during our stay. The room is nice and equipped. The breakfast was very good, freshly prepared, with local specialities. Located in a small settlement inside the jungle, one can really enjoy the nature around - and visit Sigiriya and surroundings.

Posizionato a Sigiriya, a 1,4 km da Antica città di Sigiriya, Yashi's Place Sigiriya mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. Immerso nella natura (giardino di casa stupendo), colazione ottima e abbondante, staff attento e disponibile, camera pulita, spaziosa con aria condizionata e zanzariera sopra il letto. Wifi veloce, doccia calda. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tra le migliori strutture in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Sri Lanka, ci hanno fatto innamorare di Sigiriya. L’host ci ha aiutato per diversi spostamenti con tuk tuk e abbiamo cosi conosciuto Sarànga, un suo collaboratore che ci ha fatto da driver e che si è rivelato professionale e molto gentile e simpatico, facendoci scoprire luoghi poco conosciuti ai turisti ed accompagnandoci alla ricerca di elefanti. Il miglior driver di tuk tuk incontrato in Sri Lanka, chiedete di lui se volete esplorare la zona di Sigiriya!

Pidurangala View Treehouse, una struttura con giardino e terrazza, si trova a a Sigiriya a 1,6 km da Pidurangala Rock, 1,8 km da Antica città di Sigiriya e 3,7 km da Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya. Bellissima famiglia. La casetta in legno stupenda e con vista sul monte Pidurangala. Siamo stati bene.

The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!
