We are really well at Suriya Guest :) we had the breakfast and dinner twice which was delicious. The host was super welcoming and kind. The rooms were spacious and had heating, which was important because we were there when it was only 17 degrees Celcius.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at S and D homestay in Nuwara Eliya and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and helpful owner and his amazing family, who ensured a warm welcome and served for us delicious lunch (the dining experience was truly a delight). One of the highlights of this homestay is its’ beautiful view from the terrace: you can sea the Lovers Leap waterfall and tea plantations (walking distance). The room is spacious and cosy, even with the patchwork rug on the floor. There’s also a nice common living room. Overall, our stay at S and D Homestay was exceptional. The combination of the hospitable family, delightful meals, beautiful view and the refreshing cool air made it a remarkable experience.

First of all, the room is clean, comfy and spacious. There is a common space to enjoy coffee and tea. The breakfast was above expectations, good quantity and the taste was fantastic. Then the hosts are amazing. Their recommendations are super valuable. Chami the host drove us around and spent a lot of time with us. To be honest it felt amazing to have such a welcoming host and we felt very lucky to have that experience. It was maybe one of our best days in Sri Lanka. If you're arriving they can offer a pick up for a small fee. We're already looking forward to our next visit! We will not only come back as guest but also as friends.

The place was spotless, and the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had full privacy, and all the facilities we needed were available. They went above and beyond by packing us a delicious breakfast for our early checkout. I highly recommend Ruchi House to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Rustique House dbl si trova in zona Lake Gregory a Nuwara Eliya, a 1,4 km da Lago Gregory e 7,7 km da Hakgala Botanical Garden. Shan and his Mam gave such a warm welcome upon arriving into Nuwara Eliya after a long train journey. They are kind, welcoming and extremely attentive to every detail and it truly feels like a home away from home. Shan was always on hand for any needs or requests. The tour he arranged of the nearby tea plantation, waterfalls and secret view point was a highlight and reasonably priced. My room was tastefully decorated and extra cosy with the comfortable bed and thick blankets. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by Daphne was amazing, I will miss those honey rottis for breakfast! I highly recommend Rustique House to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Shan, thank you for a great stay and opening up your family home to guests. You should be very proud of the wonderful home stay you have created!

Situated slightly out of the main town, in a very peaceful, quiet location, with views of the countryside, a huge waterfall and a Hindu temple. There is parking for scooters, auto rickshaw and cars. The host, Paramesh, is a very polite, well spoken gentleman. He was keen to assist as much or as little as we wanted.

Ci siamo sentiti molto accolti, la coppia che gestisce questo alloggio è veramente molto cordiale. Stanza pulitissima e con tutto l'occorrente. Cibo ottimo!
