Ideally set in the centre of Anuradhapura, Lake House Home Stay offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. Lake House is incredible. Try to get one of the rooms upstairs as you have a better view of the monkeys and squirrels climbing the palm trees. Not only are the hosts friendly and welcoming, they are excellent sources of travel advice and really make your travel planning easy. Bicycles are available and this is an excellent way to see the sites nearby. And the food!!! The breakfasts are absolutely scrumptious with huge helpings - you won't need lunch. The photo shows the view from the breakfast area, where you can chat with other travellers if you wish. The room is comfortable and clean. Unlimited drinking water available day and night. Lake House isn't about having enough power points (there aren't) or having a wardrobe or similar for your stuff (there isn't). It's about unbelievable value, in all senses of the word.

Everything went as expected.

The photos truly don’t do justice to the beauty and comfort of the room – it far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The owner and the entire team were incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my trip was unforgettable. They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

Tasuta jalgrataste ja aiavaatega Wilpattu Mookalan Resort asub Habawewas, 38 km kaugusel Kumbichchan Kulama Tankist ja 39 km kaugusel Jaya Sri Maha Bodhist. Located just outside the park entrance. Very kind staff, helped us organise transfer and safari. Dinner was amazing! Thank you!

The owners were so nice and welcoming... i am gluten free and they tried their best to understand what is that to adapt my breakfast 🍳 Egg Hoppers were super good!! They arranged it for me and there is always fresh juice, fruit and something sweet and coffee or tea. They take your pictures for your memories 🤗 There is a walk path just behind and you can have an early or evening walk if you want through very very beautiful scenery!! Several light points with warm light! You will understand this comment when you travel around sri lanka..they normally use really white light lights! The warm color was very nice

Swan Lake Habarana asub Pidurangala kaljult 12 km kaugusel ning pakub konditsioneeriga majutust koos terrassiga. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious in a very peaceful place. Excellent traditional breakfast.

We felt very welcomed, super friendly staff, didnt try to sell us anything, good breakfast, free good condition bikes, helped with arranging tuktuk. Tranquil vibe.

Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. - bed is really comfy and accommodation super clean - hot shower !!! - warm welcome from the family - Sheeva helps to organise all the activities as the place is strategically based in the center of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka : safari for elephants, sunset and sunrise at lion rocks and Pidurangala rock but also reply to a lot of requests that is really nice (example: he told me how to get to his place by local bus so I could avoid paying a lot in taxi as a solo young traveller it’s really nice) - quite area - interesting discussion with the owner to learn about Sri Lanka story - food available (but I would recommend to check price in advance just to know what you are going to pay) - host organised for me an Ayurvedic treatment that was so good - good quality for the services provided compared to the price paid
