Nice room with comfortable bed. Quiet location. Very good instant water heater for the shower. They cooked a special chicken biryani for lunch which was delicious. We also had their very good Sri Lankan breakfast. Good value overall.

Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

We stayed 4 nights and we had no problem! The room was clean, it is spacious, the location is perfect, a few metres from the main street and the beach. A peaceful garden paradise near the surf! Vinka’s place is a little piece of quiet garden paradise just a short walk from the surf spot! I loved the peaceful atmosphere, the lush garden, and how comfortable and clean the cabanas were. Vinka was super helpful and kind throughout my stay — always available if I needed anything. Everything was perfect, and I felt totally at home. I’ll definitely come back one day. Highly recommended for surfers and nature lovers alike!
