Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Situated 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Overall a great place to live near the main street and the beach, but without the noise. The host and team are what makes this place exceptional.

Set in Arugam Bay, 100 metres from Arugam Bay Beach and 2.9 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya, Aqua Blue offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

We stayed 4 nights and we had no problem! The room was clean, it is spacious, the location is perfect, a few metres from the main street and the beach. The owners are very friendly and hospitable, we recommend without hesitation this place to spend your nights in Arugam Bay :) Thank you a lot!!

I loved the peaceful atmosphere, the lush garden, and how comfortable and clean the cabanas were. Vinka was super helpful and kind throughout my stay — always available if I needed anything. Everything was perfect, and I felt totally at home. I’ll definitely come back one day. Highly recommended for surfers and nature lovers alike!

We also took the surf lessons and they were fantastic! We had so much fun. We are complete beginners and it was so well taught, and Apple knew the spots to go to!!
