Loved that it was an old school house! Amazing building. Staff were very friendly too. The beds were very comfortable for a dorm style accommodation. The kitchen and lounge are nice to use. The giant gym inside it is very cool as well! Would definitely stay here again!

熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 km of Atami Sun Beach and 27 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station. At first I was surprised by the good ratings, but it was indeed well deserved! The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is very spacious, with a great view to the mountain and the sea. We were very well received and everything was clean and tidy! Top experience

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Staff were great and friendly! They run a small cafe too so can get some decent coffee anytime. The lounge was ghibli themed and cosy with lots of suggestions for food and activities! Dorm room was as expected, lots of room for luggage.

This was fantastic. The room and all facilities were super clean and nice. And the dinosaur details were really cool. The owners are very kind and helpful. They also provide breakfast, drinks, ice cream and other things for cooking if you want to use the kitchen.

It had a true homely feel - you will be staying with a local couple who are the most wonderful people. They are both deeply passionate about Tokoname artists and will be able to give you a lot of information about them. They delivered an authentic experience of living in a Japanese household. The rooms are cute, clean, and comfortable too!

Nagoya jaam jääb 40 km kaugusele ning külalistele pakutakse tasuta transporditeenust.... I spent three nights at B&B Legare. Eri was an excellent host. Not only friendly and warm, she actually took the trouble of planning an itinerary for me. Every night she brought me to a different onsen and we had dinner out together. For my day trip to Gujo Hachiman she drove me to the bus station and made sure I bought the right ticket and boarded the right bus. The B&B is not close to the city centre so everyday she sent and picked me up from the city centre. If not for Eri I wouldn’t have been able to experience as much as I did in Gifu; she brought me to places I otherwise would find challenging to get to get to and I learnt more about Gifu and Japanese culture from her. Also the room I had at B&B was very comfortable and spacious and I slept so very well on the futon.
