Paddy N Canal Homestay poskytuje zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple je 1,3 km odtud. The minute I entered the house, I felt so welcome. The family made me feel at ease straight away. It was so nice being able to chat with them to get to know more about their lives, which was what I was looking for. They are so attentive and will send you lots of info not only about the great authentic tours they can organise but also recommended places to see around and restaurants. I did the sunrise kayak and that was such a wonderful experience. I decided it quite late and the ferry was leaving 5 minutes later, no problem! A quick call to make the ferry wait and in less than 10 minutes and a very short moto ride away and I was inside and someone from the ferry was there to tell me where to stop. I took the ferry back around 19:00 and the person who did the kayak messaged the hosts to let them know I took the ferry. I felt so well looked after. The place itself is very nice, large room and bathroom and the best is the terrace overlooking the canal where you can see life goes by. The homestay is on the village side with gorgeous rice fields. They encouraged me to walk around and that was great. The breakfast was also delicious. If you want to have an authentic stay, don't hesitate, this lovely family will take care of you.

In nice, small, quiet streets about 200m from the centre, well away from being hassled by auto drivers and restaurant owners. Beautiful singing from the local church on Sunday mornings. Unlike the centre, you can see and hear a lot of birds. The hosts are brilliant, communicating well and quickly on WhatsApp. They arranged to have our washing done, they even negotiated a lower price for us.

Kids playing , we sipping tea in sitting area, playing chess, Varma , watching TV, reading newspaper at top view tower. Bed is quite comfortable, bathroom top notch clean . Clean and elegant and spacious. Breakfast is homemade and delicious .

Soly and her husband are very caring and attentive. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The bus to Munnar is right in front, offering beautiful views along the way. Bonus: Soly cooks delicious meals! We recommend this homestay.
