Snooze is even prettier in person. The bedroom was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and had a lot of pillows. The bathrooms were very clean. The girls from the front desk (Vena, Mahda, Dian, Talitha and Mutia) were extremely nice and helpful, they gave me recommendations, sent me maps and places to go to and they even helped me by calling an airline about a cancelled flight. I would 100% recommend. Also, great location and very good breakfast.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the people there are truly the heart of the place. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and it’s close to many lovely local-style cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Djodi and his team were most helpful and went the extra mile to make this a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It truly feels like a home away from home, and the breakfast was delicious.

I highly recommend this homestay! Everything was perfect! -Room: Spacious, clean, with a comfy bed where I slept like a baby. Even if I choose the room with a fan, it was never too hot in it (they also have rooms with a/c if you need it) -Bathrooms: Really clean, no bad smell, good water pressure, one of the showers have hot water, and there is a good ratio bathroom/number of guests -Breakfast: DELICIOUS!! Everyday they serve something different, always so tasty and good size portions. They also care if you have allergies or preferences (Indonesian food or not) -Location: The homestay is located in a really quiet green street with lots of trees where it feels cooler than the rest of the city. The neighborhood is safe, and you are close to everything -Common areas: Spacious and clean, and there is a garden with tables to chill and drink your coffee :) -Owner: She is a really nice person, can help you by giving you any informations about things to see, activities to do, places to go, and how to get there! I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book again if I come back to Yogya!!

For breakfast she'd treat us with traditional Yogyakarta home cooking as if we were part of the family. Staying at Rumah Gandrung made visiting Yogyakarta a wonderful experience. Adorable orange cat. Is a place with a lot of heart and positive energy. My only regret is that I couldn’t say goodbye to the staff the morning I left (I hope they read this and know that I am very grateful and wish them the best).
