Warm welcome from Johan and his nephew, the room was clean and already fresh with the AC. The place felt like home and we could also use the kitchen. The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. We also plan the visit to Ijen with Johan and everything went smoothly ! Thanks for everything, it was a pleasure to meet you :)

Budhi the owner is amazing: he picks you up from the station and brings you back, he is super friendly and offers his help and recommendations whenever you need. In the morning you can enjoy some tea with him or other guest in the common are (a really nice terrace). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and the place lays in a backyard which makes it cozy. Thanks you Budhi - one of the best places we stayed so far in Indonesia!

The owner was lovely, as was the rest of the staff. Extremely accommodating as we are vegan and they were able to organise meals for us. Arranging transport to the turtle lodge and to our next destination was also extremely easy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Breathtaking scenery and a beautiful place to stay.

Ubytovanie Mocca Guest House sa nachádza v destinácii Banyuwangi 16 km od miesta Watu Dodol a hosťom ponúka rôzne služby a vybavenie. Such an incredible and friendly staff. Annie and Yati were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting there family and the rooms were clean. We had jackfruit pancakes for breakfast with fresh watermelon which was delicious. The neighborhood felt safe and everyone was friendly. We walked around and tried local food. The streets can get busy but everyone was so nice and saying hello as they went by. We did the Ijen tour through them with a group of 5. We had planned to do it alone but when we compared the cost going with a group it was much more affordable. Especially because they make you go up with a guide now. The group size was not too big either. We saw some groups of over 20 people which I would not recommend. Incredible experience. We went from night time cold, to hot from hiking, to cold, to fog, to rain, to the most incredible view we have EVER seen. Our favourite thing in Bali. Even the walk back down was incredible. You also could come later in the day to miss the crowds. The blue luminescent light from the lava has not been working since an eruption in Jan. They take you for sunrise, but we barely saw it because of fog and honestly if you see Bromo sunrise this is nothing in comparison. I would go mid morning, because it get too hot but you miss the crowds and see the real blue of the crater.

Really nice host, good location, lush garden. The owner of the place was super helpful with everything from arranging our private Ijen tour to getting us a driver to get to our next destination.

Ubytovanie Banana Homestay sa nachádza 2,9 km od miesta Pláž Boom Beach. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, terasu a spoločnú kuchyňu. Staying at Banana Homestay was a great decision! We arrived at around 3am in the morning, but the check-in was super smooth because Fryda contacted me before and thoroughly explained everything to me. The room was quite small but cozy and had everything we needed. Fryda also helped us book the Mt. Ijen tour, she was very helpful and kind. One of the best things about staying here was definitely the breakfast! Delicious tea with a sandwich, a plate of fruit, and always some fresh pastry! The doughnuts were the BEST doughnuts we've ever had, honestly! On our last day, the lady cook was kind enough to make doughnuts for us again after she realized how much we liked them. Place is super nice and cozy. There isn't any hot water but that wasn't a problem given how hot it was. I definitely recommend staying here, there was nothing we didn't like! Plus, the kitties there are super cute as well~Thanks for having us (:
