Highly recommend it. Sylvio is a great host, and very attentive. The pool was ideal with our kids 5+9 years. Good to know that the restaurant is temporarily closed but will open again in a couple of months. This was no issue for us, as we enjoyed the communal kitchen very much!

Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

Featuring a balcony with garden views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Pachamama Nueva River side Bungalows Punta Uva can be found in Puerto Viejo, close to Punta Uva Beach and 3.6 km from Jaguar... This property is gorgeous and the staff is excellent and accommodating. The bungalow was well supplied, and just a perfect place to enjoy nature and to chill out. We kayaked to the ocean and watched sloths in the trees. I would highly recommend this property.

The owner helped us with booking a night tour to see turtles laying eggs and a morning canoe trip. Initially, there was an issue with the room as there was no kitchenette for our family of 4. After a short conversation, the owner offered us an additional smaller room, which had a kitchenette along with the original room, and all was settled. Huge TVs in the rooms with a variety of streaming services.
