For such a small town, there were quite many restaurant options. We came to see the Nevada del Ruiz which is probably what every other tourist was here for. The host here was amazing! They were making fresh empanadas after we got back from the volcano and they sell them for 2000 COP each (about 0.50¢) and they were delicious! I'd definitely recommend staying here.

She went out of her way multiple times, first to help me locate the property when I arrived late and then to show me around the area and the beautiful river.
