The owners are very friendly, and the place is organized with great taste. You feel like you’re visiting old friends.

This was a real find for us, just the kind of stay we love, friendly, personal and kind. Great room and bathroom, with the best shower of our long trip. We arrive after a long ride due to the flood road and path closures, we able to give the bikes a host off before putting them in the shed. The garden and yard are just lovely, you can sit and have beer or coffee in the afternoon. Just wished we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. My room was very spacious and included a living/dining area. This is a very traditional property and is obviously well loved and cared for. The Christmas decorations around the property were lovely and a lot of time and care had been put into placing them. I would definitely book again.

Located in Dürnstein in the Wachau Valley, just steps away from the Danube River, Winzerhof - Gästehaus Stöger features a garden, a bicycle storage room, and bicycle rental. Excellently equipped apartment with a view of the garden, which is freely accessible. The advantage is the fridge with great local wines for sale, a free parking spot, the storage room for bikes and the location - a short walk from the center of a beautiful village with restaurants and a nice bakery, near the Danube, right on the bike path. The location, the room, the wine, the breakfast and Silke our host were simply amazing. We came as guests and when we left we felt we had a new friend.
