Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. This was my second time staying at Tara Guesthouse! Great atmosphere and accommodation from Vicky and his family! They make sure you have a great stay and enjoy your time in the Chitwan National Park area! This is the only place I will stay while in Sauraha! Could not recommend this guesthouse enough!

Velmi ochotné dámy na recepci, komunikativní, vybaveni angličtinou, hotel umí vyprat, má svůj filtr na vodu, lze zde nechat zdarma batohy v případě treku, zavolají taxi, zajistí lístky vykomunikují permity. Všude je čisto. Žádný hmyz.

The wifi was great and the magnificent Himalayan mountains can be seen from the roof top.The shower runs reliably hot.I was able to leave my luggage in a safe room. Highly recommended this place.
