This was THE best accommodation of our trip. The owner was really nice, helpful, he did everything possible for us. The whole hotel was beautiful and our room? I slept like a princess. Food delicious, when we had an early trip outside, they gave us food package. Dinner was also really nice. Everything was clean, beautiful view at ocean. Definitely would go here again.

This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

Set within 400 metres of Madiha Beach and 32 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole, Surf Lodge Madiha offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Matara. Our stay at the lodge was wonderful! The location is absolutely beautiful and the décor is charming and welcoming. The area is so peaceful, it made for a perfectly relaxing getaway. The food was delicious, with amazing brunch options and coffee that was simply outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and cozy retreat.

Offering a garden and garden view, Cashew Villa Hiriketiya is situated in Hiriketiya, 100 metres from Hiriketiya Beach and 5.1 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. It's a good spot, close to the beach. Clean room and very kind owner. I had to stay only one night and arrived late at night, but it was a nice stay.

Situated just 1.3 km from Abimanagama Beach, Freedom192 features accommodation in Weligama with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Location is nice, close to the beach and away from the busy road. The room was good size and comfortable, A/C and internet worked well, the host was friendly and attentive. There is a kitchen and a beautiful garden where you can enjoy the coffee and spot peacocks and other birds. The bathroom has a bath tub which was nice.

Set 600 metres from Hiriketiya Beach, Wilson's Place offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. It is situated 5 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and provides a 24-hour front desk. Very nice, brand new hotel for reasonable price. Clean, not bad wifi, owner is also very nice and helpfull guy. Location is calm, walking distance to the beach and other activities. We even extended our stay for couple more nights and would gladly come back.

Parasol dore is a recently renovated guest house in Dickwella, where guests can take a dip in its infinity pool and make the most of its free WiFi, private beach area and water sports facilities. What a hidden gem! Jeremy and the team are excellent hosts, attending to every request we had, whether it was transport, excursions, or restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is perfectly situated at a comfortable distance from both Dickwella and Hiriketiya, offering perfect peace and tranquility. There is a wide variety of traditional and modern dining options just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The place is immaculately clean, with the grounds extending to a gorgeous beach that was peacefully quiet (which we loved!). A big shout-out to Roshan and his lovely daughter Nikya, our trusty tour guide, who were brilliant in giving advice and organizing any outings we took. A fantastic stay with some great memories made. Highly recommended!

Situated within 200 metres of Weligama Beach and 28 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium in Weligama, Boutique Villa Bougainvillea provides accommodation with seating area. Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

A wonderfully peaceful place, a beautiful, spacious room with a huge bed and a balcony overlooking the trees and the monkeys that live there😍Very clean bathroom, hot water and toiletries. Very nice owners, very helpful. The whole building was calm and quiet. One of the best places I've been to during my trip to SriLanka. There is a restaurant next door, there are breakfasts and lunches. The restaurant is owned by the same owners. They also have a tuk tuk available so you can arrange a ride if you want to keep going. Highly recommended☺️And most importantly, opposite, just after crossing the street is the descent to the beach where you can admire the turtles and 3 minutes to Coconut Tree Hill. Beautiful place.
