Lovely hosts, they helped organise transportation for us to and from Pidurangala rock for sunrise as well as a car from their home stay to our next location, Kandy. Our safari was also suggested and arranged for us by our hosts. The little things go a long way. We arrived in a downpour and our hosts very kindly met us both by the cars with umbrellas whilst they helped us with our bags. Breakfast was delicious, too and we were enjoyed having dinner with the hosts on the first evening we arrived. When staying at Yashi’s place, you must visit the Lady Cafe at the end of the road - this was a great recommendation by the host and the best food we had throughout our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. The gardens surrounding Yashi’s place were beautiful - we especially enjoyed seeing the peacocks in the trees as we ate our meals!

Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.

Bovi was caring & extremely friendly. She took care of all our needs & did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was generous & tasty. The cottage is located within 5mins drive from the Sigiriya Lion Rock site & close to many restaurants & other travel amenities (such as ATM & laundry).

Sanjee and Madhu were exceptional hosts, very friendly and open and helping us to make the most of our time in Dambulla. They organised extra activities for us that went beyond our expectations, including a laundry service, safari, tour of the town and Sigiriya, and incredible food. They even made food that we wanted to give a try, and catered to dietary requirements perfectly. Thank you for the great 3 days with you!

We requested to check in before almost 6 hours. Without being irritated Mahinda dada welcomed us at midnight (3:30am)!! He did not even charged extra money for early check–in. The breakfast & dinner we got at night was beyond expectation. Foods were delicious and representing the authentic Sri Lankan taste. The environment was lovely & the location was very close from Lion rock. We are greateful to Mahinda dada and his family for the amazing hospitality... ❤️

You have to stay here in Sigiriya. The breakfast was amazing, ask for the Sri Lankan (hoppers & curry was so good!) very attentive family. 2 rooms total. Safari with the family was amazing definitely book it through him! Room was super clean, fast WiFi, big shower, great AC. And even a television. Our stay here was the best in Sri Lanka and that’s all down the the amazing room, value for money & the lovely family. Couple of good restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Highly reccomend Attika restaurant!

Náš pobyt jsme si díky majiteli velmi užili. Naprostá spokojenost od začátku do konce. Welcome drink, naleštěný pokoj, vše čisté jako nové, obrovská pohodlná postel, rychlovarná konvice, fungující Wi-Fi a majitel, který se opravdu snaží, aby byl host spokojený. Ráno nás odvezl na východ slunce na Pidurangalu, pak ke Lvi skále. Po návratu nás čekala bohatá snídaně, která se nedala sníst. Dorazilo i par opic. Na konci nás majitel odvezl na autobusovou zastávku. Děkujeme za krásný pobyt, na který budeme ještě dlouho vzpomínat 😊

The family was very realy realy nice. They shown us big proparty, where they have all kind of fruit. Moreover, you will have fresh fruit at breakfast and you will have there also other traditional Sri Lanka meal. The room was very big and we had everything, what we need. It is also in good locality. You have it very close to Lion Rock, Pidurangala Rock. Less than 5 minutes by car. We really recommend this acommodation.
