We want to go back for a more long time . The staff gives fruits and fresh water every time. We chilled on the quiet terrace. We loved the garden and the river. Very beautiful place.

The rooftop terrace is another highlight. Open and spacious, it offers 360-degree views of Kampot, perfect for both sunrise and sunset, with the mountains on one side and the town on the other. Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is also fantastic being close enough to town for anything you need or want to do, but quiet enough to relax in the evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Kampot Coco Guest House in Kampot provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. The property features garden and city views, and is 1.9 km from Kampot Pagoda. This place was so quiet and clean. I was so peaceful to wake up to. Very central, only $1 via tuk tuk to the main action. The breakfast was amazing. Beautiful home stay. Wish we had more time to enjoy this place more.

Situated within 1.1 km of Kampot Pagoda and 6.1 km of Kampot Train Station, The Hidden Oasis Bungalows features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kampot. The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

Situated within 2.2 km of Kampot Pagoda and 5 km of Kampot Train Station in Kampot, Fish Island Bungalows offers accommodation with seating area. The bungalows are great and clean with a mosquito net for the bed. The true highlight of this place is Mr Leng who is an absolutely lovely guy with many stories to tell. If you stay here you must go with him on his free 2 hour tour around fish island where you will see the most beautiful sunset, salt fields ajd much much more. There are also bikes you can use for free and you are only a 20 minute walk to center of Kampot. Highly recommend spending a few nights here, you won’t regret it.

Set just 4.5 km from Kampot Pagoda, Ta Eng Guesthouse offers accommodation in Kampot with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a tour desk. Great owner who is super friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is close to the city center, so you can reach a lot of shops by walking. I liked it a lot! The windows have mosquito nets, so no problems here. Laundry service was good and they helped me to organise a bus on departure.
