A well-run hostel in a former elementary school. Dorm style rooms, shared bathrooms, all very clean. In walking distance from Magome village center and start of Nakasendo trail. Friendly and helpful staff shares recommendations for breakfast and dinner places. If you come to hike the trail, there is no need for a five- star hotel facility. I would return to this place any time and will definitely recommend it to friends...

熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 km of Atami Sun Beach and 27 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Lovely staff and very clean property. We stayed in the dorm room and it was spacious and the facilities were all very well kept. Quick walk to the train/bus station and lots of restaurants and shop also a short walk away

Located in Nakatsugawa, さかのみち-sakanomichi features a shared lounge, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The Sakanomichi is a gem. My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights in February. Ken san and Yuki san were delightful. The property was very clean and comfortable. They renovated the inn themselves and you can see care and attention in every detail from materials used to decor. The food was delicious and much of it was grown (rice) or made (plum wine) by Ken or Yuki. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and side trips. They ensured we were prepared with all the details required to ensure we had successful adventures. We are so lucky to have we picked the Sakonomichi. It was sugoi!!!

Boasting garden views, ゲストハウス柚 features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace, around 200 metres from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. The guest house was so beautiful, the host was so kind and lovely, the location was great, really everything was perfect!

簡易宿所 ふくろく is located in Shingu, less than 1 km from Kamikura Shrine, a 13-minute walk from Shingu Castle Ruins Park, as well as 1.4 km from Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Location was excellent. Shared kitchen, microwave, kettle etc so you can self-cater with food from supermarket (next door). Very comfortable rooms with Japanese style bedding - new build so everything clean and modern. Hostess is lovely and communicates through a language translation app.

Located in Shingu, 400 metres from Kamikura Shrine, 長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel has a garden, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The room was exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly and communicative. The apartment was very convenient to many bus lines that run through Shingu. You can take the bus a few steps away from the apartment the main sights.

Konditsioneeriga GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA asub Nakatsugawas, 100 meetri kaugusel Tosoni memoriaalmuuseumist ja Magome Wakihonjini muuseumist. The accommodation was clean and cosy, and Kento-san was most friendly and welcoming. Privacy was a plus point too. Highly recommend.

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar asub Shingus, kõigest 500 meetri kaugusel Shingu lossi varemetest. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, baar ja terve päeva valve. It’s elegantly decorated and the host provides everything.

Ühise puhkeruumiga Guesthouse Ise Futami asub Ises, 8,2 km kaugusel Oharai-machist, 1,9 km kaugusel Futamiokitama pühamust ja 2,5 km kaugusel Sun Arenast. Ise Grand pühamu on 8,6 km kaugusel. Amazing place, full of great amenities. Very clean, confortable. Overall, good job on creating such a well equipped, organized hostel. Refined down to the last detail.
