It had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, and the floors were also amazing to walk on. Overall very very clean, and the ambiance was calm and soothing.

Located 1.8 km from Nara Station, 18 km from Iwafune Shrine and 22 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, Guest House Oku provides accommodation situated in Nara. Yoko-san makes the well located comfortable guesthouse top-knotch. She choose to have this and you can tell she is very passionate and informed about the area. Gave great recommendations and ready to help with anything you need. The place is a super nice experience to living in a traditional style house, while also having modern comforts. The women bunk beds were costume made for nice and spacey comfort. And location is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. protip there’s a bike rental place 1 minute around the corner.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Guesthouse Naramachi is set in Nara, 1.6 km from Nara Station and 20 km from Iwafune Shrine. We really loved to stay here. Lovely host, nice area and a really comfortable and cozy room.

8.9 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, natomi宿 is located in Heguri and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Very nice traditional Japanese house, conveniently located near the metro that goes to Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Staff was incredibly kind and even lent me their umbrella when it was raining. The place was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the futons were very comfortable. I also enjoyed the Japanese traditional breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

Nara IROHA is set in Nara, 23 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, 24 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church, as well as 24 km from Shijonawate City Museum of History and Folklore. This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

余韻 奈良宿 - yoinn narayado is a recently renovated guest house in Gojō, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
