Best place I have stayed in in Japan so far! It has a super cool vibe with a cozy working space filled with personal touches, perfect for relaxing or catching up on any work. It was designed by the owner and you can see the personal care behind it. Bunks in dorms are clean, spacious and super cozy with the wooden aesthetic. The staff was so welcoming and generous, it was great to be able to meet them as a solo traveller and made it feel like I was staying with friends. Walking distance to train station and large supermarket only 10 mins away. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will come back here if I come back to Shikoku.

Very clean, great facilities and good provision of anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!

Ubytovanie そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse sa nachádza v destinácii Ino 28 km od miesta Odo Dam Museum. We had an incredible stay with a stunning river view, where the green-blue water and private balcony made for a perfect escape. The room was comfortable, and my personal highlight was the handmade mugs, carefully selected by the owners at a local farmers market, showcasing beautiful Japanese ceramic craftsmanship. Sipping coffee while gazing at the river became a special ritual during my stay. It was a peaceful, authentic experience that I’ll always remember—truly the highlight of our trip!

Everything was amazing. Location is INSANE, in a very rural village overlooking the valley. The owner, Yancy, was super friendly with us and told us his interesting story. He provided everything we need, such as cooking tools and also games and entertainment. We appreciated to have the whole house available for us, for cooking and chilling. The outdoor bathroom is a real experience. I absolutely recommend to try this accommodation.

Ubytovanie Guesthouse En sa nachádza v destinácii Ochi 28 km od miesta Hijiri Shrine. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, bezplatné súkromné parkovisko, spoločenskú miestnosť a terasu. A windy one lane road led to the little village where we were welcomed by Takao and shown around the guesthouse. Facilities provided were exceptionally clean and well organised. We really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful landscape. Highly recommend for a unique experience in rural Japan.

The hospitality was great! The accommodation is full of style and character. My favourite place so far. I would recommend.

Ubytovanie Guest house 旅人宿ゆるっと sa nachádza v destinácii Iburi 2,2 km od miesta Pláž Oki Beach a 8,7 km od miesta Kotohira Shrine. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii spoločenskú miestnosť a bar. I had a good night's rest in this Guest House in Iburi, after a long hiking trek from Shimanto City. The bed was comfortable with plenty of room for my things and the facilities were neat and clean. The shared area had a homely feel to it with free hot drinks provided. Also a bar for Alcohol Drinks. No shops in the immediate area however I believe Dinner and Breakfast can be provided on request (I did not partake). I am doing the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage and as it turned out, it was the ideal spot from which to visit Temple 38, Kongōfukuji, down the coast to Cape Ashizuri. A long trek there and back the other side to TosaShimuzu (about 15 mins away by bus) was just about doable in a day. By bicycle would definitely be easier/faster as it is relatively flat. The route has stunning Coastal Views and the Temple is impressive. The Guest House owner was friendly and kind and stored my heavy rucksack for the day so that I could travel light. Price was great value too, especially so close after Golden Week.
