Can only recommend this place to others, it was a great place for us to unwind after some hectic days in new delhi.

Tej Prakash was super kind and helpful, he gave us lots of helpful recommendations and checked in on us regularly to make sure we were having a great stay.

The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Varanasi, just a short walk from the ghats and the Ganga. I loved waking up early and taking a peaceful stroll by the river. The rest house itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. My room was comfortable, well-ventilated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the calm and homely atmosphere — a perfect escape from the busy streets outside. The rooftop view of the Ganges during sunrise was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff even helped arrange a boat ride that became one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re looking for an affordable yet truly authentic stay in Varanasi, Banaras Rest House is the place to be.
