The room was very clean & the bed very comfortable. Was nice & quiet at night- only one time a few dogs were barking through the night. Very good reliable hot water as well. John was very helpful with suggestions as to places to visit & also arranging transport for us.

We arrived at dawn - much earlier than I had expected and Pauls staff could not be more helpful. They even gave us a choice of rooms which was unexpected. Such a wonderful place to stay in nature with such a relaxed lifestyle. On leaving Paul and his staff came out to say goodbye with hugs all round - had a lump in my throat as we pulled away. Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. We had an amazing experience at Hilias Retreat - room with a balcony, very clean room overall, especially towels and linen, also small cleaning in the middle of our stay was included. Location is good, a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants with good food. Small fridge in a room - big plus.
