The minute we opened the outside door, we could smell the newness of the building! Our room was beautiful....definitely hotel standard. It was bright, spacious, spotlessly clean and the temperature was perfect for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Joe was very warm and welcoming. He checked in with us several times during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The property is a short walk from the town and we really enjoyed the walk to and from the pub each night.

Luxurious, large bedroom with a couple of comfortable chairs, comfortable bed, good sized bathroom with plush white towels and access to outside with a superb view over the harbour. An unexpected bonus was a good sized indoor heated pool with the same spectacular harbour views. I was able to do laps each morning. Also included a steam room. The artwork on the walls was worth a visit just to see those.

This is one of the most scenic places we sayed. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Food was really tasty for dinner and the breakfast was also delish!

The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula. The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Molto bene. Ci sono posti dove ad aprirti c’è una bella persona e si sente subito l’accoglienza vera. Camera perfetta. Colazione super.

We did walks along the Dingle Cliffs and the Lighthouse trail. Was beautiful and very quiet, not many other walkers except the locals. We loved it so much and stayed an extra night, (we were lucky there was a vacancy)
