Amazing views from every angle of the place. The whole wall of glass opens up, so when the weather is good, it's really amazing to have it open air. It rained a lot while I was there, and it was the most peaceful experience watching the clouds roll in and getting the breeze off the lake. The daybed against the window overlooking the lake is just divine. I could lounge there all day. There are two very cute and friendly cats that will try to get in! It's really quiet and the bed was amazing. Most comfortable place I stayed in Guatemala. I arrived early as someone was cleaning the apartment and she was extremely nice and stowed my bag while she finished up. A nice touch you don't often get in an airbnb type place.

The location was great, in central San Juan, close to both the lake side, and the town. The accommodation was easy to find, Feliciana and her sister were so welcoming. They each insisted if there was anything at all we needed, to come and find them, and I felt they genuinely meant it. My favourite thing was watching the sunrise from the garden each morning, a glorious outdoor space, it felt very private and we spent quite a lot of time there each morning. Great to have use of the shared kitchen, the shower had hot water, and everything was clean. I would very much recommend this accommodation, they were attentive, kind and generous with their time, expertise and culture.

Property was very clean, beds were super super comfortable! Had the best nights sleep!! The proprietors were so helpful and friendly, couldn’t have done enough for us, made us feel so welcome!! Excellent location in San Juan, would highly recommend!!

Situated in Tzununá, 35 km from Volcano Atitlan, Bambu Guest House features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location was ideal as I was seeking something more relaxing. You do need to walk or take a tuk tuk to get up to the property from the boat dock. The bed in the dorm was very comfortable, the facilities clean and welcoming, and the staff was always helpful. The food was delicious and well-priced. I felt very comfortable during my stay there.

A recently renovated guest house set in Panajachel, Nomades Hostel features free bikes. The guest house offers mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. I got a free upgrade to a room in the other building, and it’s a cozy place with a good energy! The guys are great and they’re making a really cool place of it! Ps. you can even surfskate on the rooftop ;)

The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is very engaging and friendly. They are genuinely open and interested in you and ensuring you have a wonderful time. The casa itself is stunning. It has a wonderful understated elegance. It works really well as a guesthouse while still having the best elements of a hostel where you can meet travellers, have conversations and connect across varied cultures. The location is local.... you interact with locals who are relaxed, friendly and polite. Andres will explain how to have the best local experiences, including, the chicken bus, truck pick up and public la lancha experiences as well as authentic craft. The casa is very good value for money.
