Loved the little gym which had enough space for Yoga or Pilates. And the wifi worked well in the room which isn't always the case in B&Bs.

An old castle, well kept and in good condition. Very nice and helpfull owners/staff. A beautiful large garden with many blooming flowers and, among others, a very large Sequoia gigantodendron. Impressive. A cold beer was served at the end of the afternoon in the garden. A number of options for restaurants were given and reservations were be made. Top.

Sylvia, the owner, is welcoming and kind; she prepares excellent breakfasts, with cheeses, a variety of breads, and homemade confitures from her own fruit trees; offers suggestions about things to do and see, along with little treats at the end of the day. She offers dinner twice a week, which is a wonderful opportunity to sit and talk with her and other guests.

We felt welcome right from the beginning. One night we had dinner and that came with some cheese that delighted us. Xavier kindly told us where it was from and the next day we went shopping... :) The weather was not good enough for the pool but it was nice to know that we could have been able to use it. At breakfast we came in nice contact with other guests and that's something we love about "Chambre d'hôte". Beaune, Dijon, and the vineyards are easy to reach and Xavier and Min also gave us great tips where to go. We had a very good time and can recommend "La Marelle"!

The BnB feels secluded and is a lovely old home surrounded by gardens. We had a car and the drive to center city was 5 minutes and very direct. Raphael is a superb host. He was warm, friendly, and helpful with any questions/concerns that we had. The dining area for breakfast had beautiful antiques and an interesting collection of plates decorating the walls. We met two interesting couples there and tended to linger over the delicious breakfast. Our bedroom was in an adjoining structure and was comfortable and quiet.
