Hosteria Llanovientos is located in Baños and features free WiFi access, an on-site restaurant and bar, and a games room with table tennis. The property offers free parking. The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

Situated in Baños in the Tungurahua region, Hotel Casa Santa Lucía features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath. The property has mountain and garden views. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, super helpful and caring. Also, the hotel is located in a very quiet street and walking distance from the city centre. It was very clean and organised. They even do your laundry for a very cheap price. The breakfast was fresh and very good. I certainly recommend this place!

The Casa Verde Eco Guest House offers a solarium with views of the mountains and the Pastaza River just a few minutes from Baños. Buffet breakfast is included. Everything is so good, staff are so nice and considerate! Love it

Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. The location and architecture is stunning. The room is reminiscent of lodges in Africa, generous in size and beautiful colours. Thanks to lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Great meals and lovely dogs.

Hostal Balcon del Cielo is situated in Baños. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. This is by far the best place to stay in Baños!! Not only is it a beautiful view, but the owners and breakfast are AMAZING!!! Hot water is on point. Diana ( the hotel manager) is the most hospitable host that I have ever met! We have traveled quite a bit and have stayed at numerous places. This is the best Hostal that I have ever stayed at!! You will not be disappointed!❤️
