Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

Ubytovanie Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno sa nachádza v Locarne 13 min. This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

The room was incredibly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The private parking was great! The owners were caring and very attentive, they truly took care of us. It’s very close to the train station, so it was very easy to get around.

Easy to reach by public transport and a great starting point to go exploring in various directions. Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

Clean and spacious en suite room, with a fan. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely shrub-filled gardens.

A 7-minute walk from the shore of Lago Maggiore, Hotel Dei Fiori enjoys a central location in Ascona and offers you en-suite rooms with free WiFi, cable TV and a minibar. It was a perfect stay. The hotel is close to downtown. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. They also have a privat parking direct at the hotel. The hotel is super clean. The personal is outstanding, very friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We would always go back as soon as we are in this region of Switzerland.
