The hotel is amazing, placed in the heart of the mountain with a great view. The room we took was excellent, very very big, the jacuzzi in the balcony was a dream! The tours they have is really nice, we took the monteverde cloud forest tour with the best guide in Costa Rica Daniel, he made our tour more amazing with all the information he gave all the time. The hotel also have a nice farm where they get all the food from the restaurant from. The restaurant is very nice and the food is very good

Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The whole environment was simply fabulous! The room, our terrace, the pools, the service and the food... everything was just perfect. Even nature was on our side with a sloth on the premises and a whale jumping in the distance.!! Walking around can be a challenge due to steep walk ways. But the Hotel is offering internal transport services.

Gaia Hotel & Reserve- Adults Only se nachází v blízkosti pláže Manuel Antonio, 7 minut jízdy od pobřeží Kostariky. Wonderful hotel. Convenient with a free shuttle to the beach and national park. Breakfast is absolutely outstanding, and all the staff amazing! We also had dinner two nights and loved it. Would love to return anytime.

The staff will go above and beyond to make you feel special. The guys driving the buggies are incredibly nice and they will show you sloths! You will have a dedicated member of staff answering all your queries. We had Pamela who was very prompt and sweet. There is a Macao’s rescue centre inside the property land and it is possible to visit it for free with a guide. The guide, Clarence, is SO good that we decided to go to Manuel Antonio park only because he was leading the visit. It really worth it! We booked one night and we extended one more night And finally, you can see sloths 🦥!

Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
