Mario was a very welcoming host — he met us with a warm Italian welcome and made sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. The rooms we had were well situated, spacious and had a quaint charm — they don't make ceilings that high anymore.

The location is great near the river and all the downtown sites of interest: Duomo, train station, Santa Croce, Medici Chapel, Mercato Central. The breakfast is above average with scrambled eggs and bacon, choice of grains, breads, and fruits, cheeses, pancakes, yogurt.

Good convenient location, responsive staff. We arrived early to go to the outlet, the hotel took our luggage into storage, took the details to check us in faster in the evening, gave us umbrellas since the weather was rainy. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the outlet this time, but I'm sure we will go back to this hotel to try it, the advertising looked very good.

Al Palazzo del Marchese di Camugliano is set in a 16th-century building with original frescoes and a charming internal garden.
