Excellent location overlooking Placa de Catalunya. Very central location to walk to everything in the old town. Staff are very focused on customer service. Large rooms with very comfortable bed.  excellent breakfast buffet. The restaurant is a modern fit out with glass floors over the old part of the building, very stylish and exceptional food and service.

We had an absolutely amazing time at hotel 1898 The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were very attentive and especially Victor went out of the way to ensure that we were comfortable.Nothing was too much trouble.The Spa was very nice, 30 min a day for free for hotel guests, I had a massage with Fabricio, it was super, he has magical hands. We also appreciated the bottle of champagne on the last day! Thank you 😘We definitely recommend this hotel and will go back in the future .

Everything was amazing. Very good location, next to the old town and shops. Friendly staff. Good service in the bar and next to the pool. The pool itself was slightly chill but perhaps I just like it warmer. The room was good too. They conduct some wine and cheese tasting but unfortunately we could not attend as we walked outside a lot.
