This place is truly special and feels like a poetic experience in Portugal! Out of the 12+ places we stayed, this is one of our favorites. Everything was perfect! When I made the reservation, I mentioned we’d be celebrating our wedding anniversary. The Chão do Rio surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from its garden. It was so thoughtful and made our trip unforgettable. This place is worth every penny! What I loved most: - The photos reveal what the place is like! - The staff are incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. - The cleanliness is spotless. - The breakfast basket with local treats is a must-try and such a special experience in Serra da Estrela. - The bed and pillows are super comfy. - The functionality of everything! Everything was very well thought out - The soaps made from natural materials - I loved all the local products and this was also a big plus I would like to leave my big thanks to this magical place! All the women who run this place are amazing!

Offering an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, Pousada da Serra da Estrela is located in Covilhã. Featuring panoramic views of the surrounding landscape this hotel provides free WiFi access. View was the bestest. Breakfast was good. Pool/sauna/spa facilities were 10/10.
