Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Never have had a more luxurious stay and experience in the hotel. The infinity pools with a view straight on Douro River and valley are just breathtaking. The staff is super helpful and authentically friendly. Super looking forward to my next stay in one of the Octant hotels! There will definitely be a next time!

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. The location and views from the hotel are amazing. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming.

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food se nachází v historickém venkovském domě obklopeném zahradou a vinicemi. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! Thank you Miguel and the family! We definitely will come back next time! We enjoyed it so much! Wen & Stan

Quinta do Bosque is a true gem in the Douro Valley. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. The warm welcome set the tone right away — the owner and the entire team were not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome. The property itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even the sweet resident dog, Becas, added to the charm. We were surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was fantastic: spacious, beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped. The food deserves a special mention — every meal we had was outstanding, fresh and full of flavor. The dining experience felt both personal and refined without being pretentious. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion go into the kitchen here. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Quinta do Bosque to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

Charming vineyard with beautiful scenery by Douro-river. Very attentive and friendly staff and two amazing dogs. Be sure to include port tasting - it was fantastic to walk the wine fields, see the winery and hear about the production. We will definitely be back sometime!

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Casa da Azenha!!  The very first thing about this property is the staff. It is like staying at a family home. Maria made sure even before we arrived that we had dinner reservations, and she arranged a wine tour with us that was by far the best part of our trip. She was checking up on us the whole time to ensure that our stay was everything we needed. The other staff at the home is also very helpful with things such as laundry, the breakfast in the morning was perfect and made it easy to start our day, without having to look elsewhere to eat. Everyone here is extremely caring and is there because they love their job. As for the facilities. The property is so serene and is surrounded by fruit trees, lavender, beautiful flowers everywhere you look. The pool was clean and everything you needed for a quick swim to cool off. There are also lawn chairs For sunbathing. The rooms were historic yet, clean, spacious, and comfortable bedding. The bathroom is also clean and spacious. There is a small kitchenette if needed. Again, very cozy facilities that made you feel right at home. Even though there were other guests at the villa the apartments are separated enough, and we never felt like we were being bothered or too close for comfort! if you are looking to book look no further, as this is an amazing property with staff that care!

Museu do Douro je 6,5 km daleko.... Everything was perfect and we really liked our stay at Casa do Romezal. The location was gorgeous and the staff were really helpful. We can really recommend a stay here.
