I arrived in Arequipa on Monday afternoon (30 December 2024), and twisted my ankle 5 minutes into my Walking Tour. I did not get a chance to see any of Arequipa’s attractions or celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed indoors for 2 days to heal my swollen ankle. The team took care of me in the following ways: * Moved my luggage from my room on the 4th floor to Ground floor (because the lift was not working) * Gave me ice (for my swollen ankle) in the morning, afternoon and night every day from Monday until Thursday * Served breakfast in my room on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was so delicious!) * Helped me to call LATAM and Copa Airlines for me to change and confirm my flights (I was on hold for a long time on multiple attempts) * Advised me on which Tours to take (and arranged for Ruta del Sillar) and restaurants to go to based on my limited mobility My heartfelt appreciation to everyone who was on duty during my stay: Milagros, Fiorela, José, Lino, Enrique, Favian, Jhorly, Nadhia & Saly. They took good care of me and made me feel at home when I was traveling alone and so far away from home.

Located at the Plaza de Armas, across from the city’s historical Cathedral, Katari Hotel at Plaza de Armas offers accommodations with free WiFi access in Arequipa. The hotel is so beautiful in front of the Catedral! It has the best view at the plaza. The staff was the nicest people! The manager, Patricia, was so nice! The food was also so good!

The staff was extremely friendly and very responsive and helpful.

La Casa de Melgar se nachází ve zrekonstruované vile s okouzlující koloniální architekturou v historické čtvrti Arequipa. Hosté mohou relaxovat v zahradě nebo na centrálním dvoře s kamennou fontánou. It is a really nice place which looks fantastic. The architecture is phenomenal.

Only 200 metres from Arequipa’s Main Square, Tierra Viva Arequipa Plaza offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Breakfast is provided. Mercaderes street is 100 metres away. Location, room size, flexibility of stay. I asked for one hour extension & they agreed to it at no extra charge. Newer bathrooms.

Just amazing facilities, including hot thermal baths and a very nice restaurant with a very rich menu. Also incredible view over the river and an alpaca farm. The staff was extremely kind and available to help. 10 out of 10

Such nice rooms and the terrace is to die for , the rooms are so clean the bathrooms too , the location is just perfect - 5 mins walk to everything . The property is so beautiful, the breakfast on terrace is mesmerizing. I can’t think of staying anywhere else if I ever do come back . Arequipa is a beautiful place , plenty of sunshine all the time , the cobbled streets the restaurant the ambience . Such a nice hotel

Miskiwasi Bed & Breakfast se nachází v destinaci Yanque a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu a výhled do zahrady. We had a wonderful time here. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!
