The Reef Resort Motel offers self-contained accommodation on the edge of the Lake Taupo. The property features an outdoor heated freshwater pool and a thermal pool with a hot tub. Spacious rooms, great equipped and tv's that work so well. The pool and smaller hotpool are nice and warm. Everyone is quiet and respectfull and kind. The woman at the front desk was very hospitable. Would recommend!

Despite the cold weather in New Zealand for summer we had a fire in the lodge to keep us warm.

Everything in this property was clean & we had room service every morning for the last 4 days we have stayed here. The receptionist man is very helpful too we are on our last day here & he has made our stay here an awesome one he helped us from the start up until our last day which was meant to be today but we enjoyed it so we added one more night because of their services and how helpful and clean they are, we also got the first room to the right so the view looking at the beach in the morning when the sunrise is up until it sets was one of my highlights and it's just close to all the shops and walking distance too. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay visiting Taupo, definitely wont be my last time here i'll be back for sure with the rest of my family one day.

Located on the edge of Lake Taupo, The Cove- On The Lake offers luxury rooms with satellite TV and either fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. Oh what a friendly ad joyful place . We enjoyed the spa and the closeness to HOT BEACH was a super treat
