Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. We spent a romantic week in Hjelle hotel. Owner was very kind and helpful, the place is simply wonderful, food and serving was exquisite.

Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor all in a beautiful setting. A little pricy but a real treat ☺️

Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Really nice hotel, a group of small traditional houses transformed into a hotel. We enjoyed the food very much as well.

The Gudvangen Fjordtell offered an unparalleled experience during our recent visit to Norway, with its Viking Rooms providing the perfect blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the hotel's beautiful surroundings, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the region's natural beauty while staying in a room that transported us back in time. The proximity to the cruise/ferry terminal and Viking village added to our enjoyment, as did the nearby restaurants offering delicious food and the friendly staff who made our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. Although finding parking in the afternoon could be challenging due to the large public parking area, we were grateful for the early check-in option, which allowed us to start enjoying the hotel's amenities earlier than planned. Overall, we cannot recommend Gudvangen Fjordtell highly enough and will cherish our memories of this unforgettable stay in Norway!
