The hotel facilities are amazing nice bar and jacuzzi overlooking the Fjord. Breakfast is amazing. form someone who loves hotels’ breakfast this was one of the beast. Finally amazing service during check in and check out thank to Helga and Jannina they were super helpful and super friendly. Highly recommended

Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

The location was perfect for a walk around the city. AKSLA mountain top steps just at back of hotel. Street parking outside the hotel. Best breakfast spread. Loved the salmon. Suggest that oat milk and Almond milk also be available. Fantastic see sunset view from the room.
