Room was clean and huge, private beach was extraordinary. Food was very good (we tried also lunch and everything was super-good!) and staff very kind. Furthermore, the area is really quite compared to the center of the village. Extra facilities available on-site like small gym, pool (mainly for kids) and yoga/massage room were completing our amazing stay.

Everything was incredible during our stay, from the reception with a delicious welcome cocktail, the receptionist who welcomed us and guided us to our room, the attention to the details giving us a little treat every night, to the service of the restaurant staff, Miguel and Franco were always very attentive, the entire team was excellent, the cleanliness, the facilities, the amenities, everything was impeccable! We can not rate this place enough. The location is amazing and room was spot on. The owner Majdid went above and beyond with explaining the local areas and all the good spots to eat. They also have a great little cafe/restaurant attached that has an amazing breakfast. Would go back here in a heart beat. If it's avaliable then book it. You won't regret it!

Set on tropical Isla Mujeres island, this boutique hotel offers swimming pools, massage service and direct access to the Caribbean Sea. Some suites have a private balcony with sea views. Carlos the manager was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

Location was ideal - right on a beautiful part of the beach with very little seaweed, a short walk into town and out of the busy hustle and bustle touristy area. Room was big and very clean. Property was very well taken care of and staff were lovely.

This family-run hotel is located in front of the beach on the beautiful Holbox Island, just off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish hut-style rooms. Beautiful throughout with friendly wonderful helpful staff

The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.

This was my 4th visit to Hotel Lunata in Playa del Carmen since 2002. On the surface, very little has changed over the years. In this case, that is a very good thing! Of course there has been some modernization in that time, such as very good WiFi for each room, however the warm and inviting room design, the friendly staff and the overall impression the hotel leaves have all not changed. We again had a very pleasant visit and were sad to leave. The breakfast is very basic with some cereals, tea, coffee and toast. It’s enough to get you going into the day, but it’s not a feast and is not the main focus of this boutique hotel. It is self-service in the Lunata natural garden, just like it was in 2002. We brought some fruits from the market and the staff offered to peel and cut the fruit for us. Fantastic service.
