Set in Chefchaouen, in a traditional architecture, Hotel Alkhalifa boasts a terrace and a garden. It has free Wi-Fi access available in all areas of the hotel. The location is great, bordering the medina without being inside it. It’s quiet at night and very comfortable. It offers free secure parking for motorcycles inside the property, and there is a public underground parking for cars right in front of the property. To any biker reading this: if you want to visit Chefchaouen or use it as a base for exploring, this is the place for you. Also, the owners are very attentive and helpful.

Situated in the centre of Tangier, 2 km from the beach, this guesthouse offers an outdoor swimming pool and a view of Tangier Bay. The Grand Socco and medina are a 10-minute walk away. Great location with wonderful staff! Dinners were delicious and so convenient after a day of walking around. Rooms were clean and spacious.

However, what truly stood out was the incredible hospitality of the hotel team, especially Yasen. From the moment we arrived, Yasen went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Breakfast on the terrace was a delightful experience, with fresh local ingredients and a lovely view of the city. The entire team made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. If you’re visiting Chefchaouen, I highly recommend Dar Elrio. The service, especially from Yasen, made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than just staying at a hotel. We will definitely be back.

Located in the Medina of Chefchaouene, Dar Zambra is a traditional, Moroccan guest house. It offers a terrace with mountain views and a lounge area. It is a 10-minute walk from Rass Elma. Welcoming and great value for money, the location and view made it even more special.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, including restaurant suggestions and reservations, local sightseeing and coordinating our pick-up for a car service in the walking-only medina, . The hammam at Lina was excellent and luxurious. Breakfast was great - pretty standard Moroccan fare but really nicely done. We had the room on the top floor that opens onto the rooftop lounge. During the day, we would leave the door open to take in the mountains and the Chefchaouen rooftops. The room was beautiful, very large with a huge walk-in shower and lots of Moroccan tile. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Chefchaouen.
