The organic garden, pool, views, hot tub, the room with the terrace, friendly staff. This was such a special stay for us having got married next door at the church. We will definitely come back here for an anniversary. Also the breakfast was the best I’ve had at any hotel.

The hotel is blissfully tucked away from the tourist crowds, as access by car ends at a nearby fountain. This makes for a peaceful, authentic experience on the Amalfi Coast that feels like a hidden gem. Breakfast on the terrace comes with breathtaking views and, thankfully, was not the usual sweet-only Italian offering. Instead, we enjoyed a rich and varied breakfast that showed real attention to detail. Despite the narrow, tower-like structure, the rooms are surprisingly spacious and extravagantly decorated – full of personality and charm. A perfect mix of tranquility, hospitality, and unforgettable views. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back.

I had the most incredible experience at Hotel Al Barilotto Del Nonno in Positano. From the moment I arrived, Giovanni's warm and attentive service made me feel truly special. The rooms offered breathtaking, endless views of the sea, creating a serene and unforgettable atmosphere. But what truly blew me away was the breakfast in their enchanting garden. The spread was not only rich and tasty but also surrounded by the beauty of nature. It was the perfect way to start each day of my stay. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It's a hidden gem in Positano, and I'll cherish the memories of this exceptional stay. If you're looking for a slice of paradise, look no further than Hotel Al Barilotto Del Nonno

Loved the location - being on top of the hill and part of a beautiful little town of Pogerola. During our 4 night stay, there was a fair, a band playing and a choir / singing performance. The property has everything you need, good air conditioning and is 100m from Gerry’s Pub and the best pizza restaurant!
